Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) — Pennsylvania Public Schools Construction
ISC was contracted by Marsh USA and Willis of Pennsylvania to provide construction safety services for over 25 public school construction projects involving the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). These projects were valued at more than $150 million. ISC worked closely with architects, construction management firms, and contractors to maintain an excellent safety record. The school districts included New Castle Area, Ambridge, Gateway, Plum, Burgettstown, Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Chambersburg, Tyrone, Seneca Valley, and Brownsville.
Cork Factory Apartments — Pittsburgh, PA
Plant Construction of San Francisco contracted ISC to provide safety management services for the project, which consisted of converting industrial buildings into 295 loft apartments with amenities that include a fitness center, business center, and conference room. In addition, a new 190,000 square foot parking and retail structure were constructed on site. ISC provided an on-site safety consultant for the duration of the three-year, $65 million project.
PA Turnpike/Allegheny River Bridge Project
The Selzer Company chose ISC to provide safety management services for the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Allegheny River Bridge Project. Twin bridges approximately 2,350 feet long and up to 120 feet high will be constructed as cast-in-place concrete box girders using the balanced cantilever method.
